The video camera probe facilitates a visual inspection of all sections of the well. It thus provides information on the static water level, location, and condition of casing and screen, possible diameter changes, and open-hole sections. A visual impression of the formations exposed in the open-hole section can be obtained to help in the interpretation of the lithology and the geophysical logging data. Further, possible points of water entry through a casing break above the static water level and faulty well construction become apparent. Especially in older wells, the use of the video camera is essential to check the casing and screen conditions with regard to possible obstructions that might inhibit further sondes to be applied. Also, the video inspection gives information on the actual depth of the well, which often differs from the original depth, due to the accumulation of sand or debris.

  • CCTV Camera inspection
  • Geophysical borehole logging
  • Hydrochemical and microbiological analyses
  • Anti-clogging strategies
